The film tells two love stories, similar but very different, against the background of a splendid and protagonist city. The capital becomes the romantic theater of the couple’s life: shaky, in love, exhausted but still evolving over time. The protagonists, in different ways, reflect on their lives to understand themselves and each other. Zoe and Tommaso, Elena and Umberto live their life as a couple in parallel, arriving at the moment of wondering if they are willing to move forward, evolve and try again or if the fear of breaking up is greater than that of remaining together. A manager and a writer, a mayor and a school principal collide on the screen and tell the beauty and difficulty of love in a cynical but also very profound way.
