Support the Fourth Annual Italian Film Festival in Atlanta

The 4th Annual Italian Film Festival is around the corner and we are proud to announce a strong selection of 8 new films (double last year) that will once again be screened in Georgia State University’s beautiful, and historic, Rialto Center for the Arts, from Mar 29 through April 4. Thanks to funding from Georgia State University’s Center for the Collaborative and International Arts, the Italian Foreign Trade Commission and private sponsors, ALL SCREENINGS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Screenings Mon-Fri will be at 7:30 PM, Sat and Sun we have two shows at 6 and 8 PM. See the film section on this page for info on individual films.

In addition to the feature films, we have a series of Italian documentaries and shorts that will screen in Georgia State University’s Cinefest Theater. These screenings will be from 3 to 5 PM March 29, 30, and 31 and are likewise open to all.

Opening day is Monday, March 29. At 6:30, we will have pizzas made by midtown’s new hip pizzeria, Piola, as well as music by the Trevor Eich jazz ensemble. Film screening is scheduled for 7:30ish. Piola will also offer a discount during the Festival to our audiences that present a coupon which can be picked up at the Rialto.
