The Italian Film Festival in Atlanta is back with seven new award winning Italian films presented at the Rich Theatre in our continuing collaboration with the High Museum. This year screenings will be joined by a number of additional events including a photographic exhibit, seminars and, of course, our signature Opening Party. We have also added one day to our program to better accommodate your schedule so mark your calendar on Thursday April 3rd and come, starting at 6:30 pm, to enjoy the opening of the photographic exhibit by Ambassador Marco Rocca in the lobby of the Rich Theatre titled “Italy: Love at First Sight” followed at 7:30 pm by our opening film, I Giorni dell’Abbandono. Why not conclude the evening with a feast for your senses with our Opening Party at Halo Lounge, one of the hottest spots in Atlanta located just one mile from the Rich Theatre. We have reserved two floors just for you where you will enjoy an open bar featuring vodka Roberto Cavalli, Peroni beer, tequila Frida Kahlo or what your heart desires. Excellent hors d’oeuvres prepared by the best Italian restaurants in town using only Academia Barilla products will be served to complement your drinks. Your Opening Pass that includes all three events is available now on the GET PASSES section of this website. If you are interested in world events do not miss the seminar “Italy and the European Union” at Georgia State University, for more info click on the EVENT section.
